A Human Wellness Check-in Service — Not a Robot

Unlike many automated “Are You Okay?” apps, SilenceAlert uses real human follow-up.

No automated robocalls.
No AI-generated voice systems.
No fully automated emergency alerts.

If you stop responding, a SilenceAlert teammember attempts to contact you personally. We check what may be wrong before contacting your emergency contacts.

Only if necessary your emergency contact will be manually informed.

That means:

  • less unnecessary panic

  • fewer false alarms

  • real reassurance for you and your loved ones

how silence alert works

How Does SilenceAlert Work?

1️⃣ Receive a Daily 'Are you ok?' Wellness Check-In

You receive a daily message or phone call through:

  • WhatsApp

  • E-mail

  • Personal phone calls

You choose the method that works best for you.

2️⃣ Respond as a Sign of Life

Simply reply with a 👍 or short confirmation.

3️⃣ No Response? We Take Action

If you do not respond, SilenceAlert follows your personally customized protocol.

For example:

  • reminder messages

  • multiple phone call attempts

  • contacting family or friends

  • requesting a welfare check if necessary

After signing up, you receive a separate intake form where you can set your personal check-in preferences and emergency contact procedures.

We stop guessing when it comes to your safety and well-being.

Because your safety is too important to leave to an algorithm.

Why SilenceAlert is different

Aan de telefoon

Daily Wellness Check Service

with real human follow-up

Unlike other “Are You Okay?” apps, SilenceAlert does not automatically notify your emergency contact.

Busy for a moment or forgot to reply to our message?

Then we first check ourselves what may be going on and try to reach you directly.

Only if it is truly necessary will we contact your emergency contact person.

This creates reassurance without unnecessary worry or false alarms.

How SilenceAlert came about

My name is Martina Peters

Martina Peters has worked for over 30 years as a nurse and sociotherapist. But she is also a cat lover and someone with a small social network.

After falling down the stairs in her own home, she experienced firsthand how important it is that someone notices when something is wrong.

For herself — and for her cats.

That is how Stiltemelder was born:

A daily check-in, so that someone does notice when something is wrong.
